Eucalyptus oil is a powerful decongestant, and its most popular use is as an inhalant to treat colds, winter bugs, asthma and other respiratory problems. It can also be diluted with a carrier oil and massaged in to help treat muscle aches and inflammation, as well as neuralgia. It is antimicrobial, and can be dabbed on to acne, cold sores and other sores directly with a cotton bud.
Our eucalyptus oil is produced in China by steam distillation.
Eucalyptus is safe for use in pregnancy, as well as safe for use with children, although it shouldn’t be used (even diluted) on the skin of children under two - try a diffuser instead.
